Platform and modules
VaniAgent is a customer-engagement workspace where leads enter from multiple sources, AI engages them by voice or WhatsApp, and outcomes return to Contacts or your CRM.

Core objects
Section titled “Core objects”- An agent defines how the AI speaks, behaves, retrieves knowledge, and analyzes a call.
- A phone number belongs to a telephony connection and can route inbound or outbound calls.
- A contact is the durable customer/lead record.
- A campaign is a controlled outbound workflow over an audience.
- A call records one engagement attempt and its outcome.
- A WhatsApp conversation is an inbox thread with AI or human ownership.
- An integration connects an external provider or data source.

Configuration APIs used by the dashboard remain private. The public Developer API exposes only approved customer-facing operations and never publishes provider credential schemas.
