Connect WhatsApp Business

Before you start

You need a Meta app, a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), a Business Phone ID, and a system-user API access token with WhatsApp messaging permission.

Connect in VaniAgent

1. Open Integrations and find WhatsApp Business API.
2. Enter the Business Phone ID and API access token. Add the WABA ID, App ID, and App Secret when available.
3. Save, then run credential validation. Resolve any Meta rejection before continuing.
4. Copy the generated webhook callback URL and verify token into Meta Developer Portal: WhatsApp → Configuration → Webhook.
5. Subscribe to the messages field. Send a message from a test number to confirm inbound delivery.

Caution

One Business Phone ID can be connected to one VaniAgent account at a time. Never paste the access token into a public website or client-side application.

After validation, configure Inbox, AI and bulk messaging.
